Sunday, September 21st is PPTC’s Century date with 25, 50, 66 and 100-mile options available.

The Potomac Pedaler Century starts at Clarke County High School in Berryville, VA at 7 a.m.

The Century is keeping its famous scenic route. Enjoy the peaceful country roads over the Shenandoah River valley’s gently rolling terrain. Ride through the rich historic land where a young George Washington once rode as a surveyor for Lord Fairfax. Stop for a tour of the Burwell-Morgan Mill and experience all the pastoral views.

New this year is a pancake and sausage breakfast (for a $5 donation) to the local Boy Scout troop. This Century is avidly supported by the local community which makes it all that much more fun. The rides have a rolling start (show and go) from7-9 a.m. Ride at your own pace but return by 6 p.m. when the route services will close. SAG vehicles and mechanical services as well as Red Cross, EMS, ARES radio communication support will ensure your safe return to the high school.

The fee includes maps, cue sheets, SAG and mechanical support, 4 rest stops with food (including our famous tomato sandwiches), Mill tours, and a great finish line celebration with food, music, shower and massages (for hire). Long-sleeved T-shirts are available only for pre-registrants.

TIME: There is a rolling start (show and go) from 7–9 a.m. Ride at your own pace, but return before 6 p.m. when the route services (SAG vehicles and mechanical services) will close.

This is a rain-or-shine event and no refunds will be issued (see PPTC refund policy). Helmets are required and riders are expected to obey all traffic laws.
