For those of you planning rides in Anne Arundel County with a rest stop in Galesville be aware that the West River Market is closed, apparently for good. There is a wine shop just down the road that sells drinks and a few snacks (chips, candy bars and the like). The owners appear quite nice and did not blink as our sweaty, lycra'd selves trod through their store. BUT, there is no bathroom and a quick scan of the area as we rode into town failed to turn up a porta-john or other facilities. Future ride leaders may want to scout the area out a bit more carefully for a public potty and revise the stock cue sheet accordingly.
