Two road conditions to note: Rt 28 If you are going to POR via Rt 28, there is now a very inconvenient detour due to a road closure at Washington Run. Traveling west on 28, the detour signs are not posted until after you turn left at the intersection of 85 and 28 (in order to continue on 28). My recommendation is to continue on Rt 85, turn left on Oland, quick right/left on New Design and Mountville, left on Ballenger Creek, left on 28, and finally right into the POR parking lot. I have no idea how long the detour will be in place, but be sure to add a few minutes extra to your travel time. You can still access the convenience store east of the station for gas, food, and bathrooms. Rt 109 The road surface from at least Barnesville Rd to Rt 28 has been milled for repaving. I was in a car; however, the road surface looked less than appealing for bikes with lots of uncovered potholes on both sides of the road. Michelle
