Moderately hilly. Lots of rolling hills in the first 28 miles. Then a bit of climbing over Piney Mountain and Viewtree Mountain. Steepest pitch might be 17%. For more hills and miles (about 65), turn around at Rt. 17 and go back to the top of Viewtree Mountain (Bear Wallow Rd.) again. It's easier from the East.
