Forum Wish List
The new forums look great! Thanks for your work. The basics look really solid. I understand privacy and safety have been priorities by the creators.
A few options, if possible that from a user standpoint would be desirable, assuming they do not compromise privacy, safety, speed, cost and webmaster time include in descending order of preference:
1-Subcribing to threads (have ones you have posted to or choose to emailed to you)
2-Searching the forums
3-Stickies
4-Topic starter's ID/name
5-Be able to see a list of posts that you yourself (or someone else) have made
I had already registered for the new site, so was able to access the forums. Are only PPTC members allowed to have access to these forums (as is the case w/ Topica)?

Impromptu Ride Forum
Could we add a forum for people to announce, or try to organize, impromptu or unscheduled rides? That would enable folks to reach a wider audience than the subset of PPTC-M subscribers and make the site more reflective of how the membership as a whole rides. This feature would help people find rides with club members when the official rides on offer don't match their schedules, abilities or location preferences.

Link calendar to ride list
I think it would be especially convenient to be able to click on the calendar on the main page and have it take you to a listing of that day's rides and events.
Take it to the next level and have the ride descriptions contain links to printable cue sheets... no one could ever complain about having the font too small again!

So far, we have the special events on the calendar. The next step that we are working on involves an online ride scheduling system. This will have the features you requested and then some. We hope to have a demo version by the end of April.
