If any you are planning a ride in the Clarksburg, MD area, the
intersection of Stringtown, Clarksburg and 355 has been redesigned.
Essentially, Stringtown has been extended across 355 almost to 270,
where it merges in with Clarksburg Pk. If you are coming north on
Clarksburg (from Boyds and the reservoir), at the light just past the
270 overpass you stay straight and onto Stringtown. 355 is about .6
miles later. Cross 355 on Stringtown and you are on your way up to
Damascus. If you are coming south on Stringtown, just cross 355 and
you will merge onto Clarksburg just before 270. I am probably making
it sound more complicated than it is. Basically, to get onto
Stringtown from Clarksburg, you just stay straight after crossing 270;
to get on Clarksburg from Stringtown, just stay straight across 355.
