This year, we move 'up country'
where the air is clear, the terrain is rolling
and if you drive, the parking is free and easy
Food, fun, and even a few great rides from the family friendly 8 mile
warm-up to the 45-mile three county challenger
Bring a dish to share. Beverages and pizza provided.
Plenty of lawn space, chairs, and a HUGE parking lot
for setting up the biggest barbie you have
Our gracious hosts, Larry and Linda Black
have extended this year's event and invite you to
bring your wannabe tandem friends and we will provide bikes for them to try
out.
Because it's November, and some people want new things each year, we will
have a large area for you to swap, buy, and sell your goods.

Sunday, November 9, 2008. Crabs Tailgate. Start time: 10am. 26 miles.
Start:407 Wingate Road, Baltimore
End of season ride and potluck with the Merrilll's in Baltimore City with a
new ride from Roland Park to Fort McHenry to Canton and all of the
neighborhoods in between, It will be a social, fun, and interesting tour of
the City. After the ride, it's CRABS traditional tailgate-potluck. Bring a
favorite dish to share and plan to have a great time exploring the area by
tandem and socializing with friends. Directions: North east portion of DC
Capitol Beltway (495). Take exit 27 (I-95 N toward Baltimore). Go 0.3 miles
and Keep left at the fork to continue toward I-95 N and merge onto I-95 N.
Go 26.0 miles. Take exit 53 to merge onto I-395 N toward M L King Blvd. Go
1.7 miles. Continue on S Martin Luther King Blvd. Go 0.7 miles. Continue on
N Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Go 0.8 miles. Turn left at N Howard St. Go 0.7
miles. Turn right at W North Avenue/US-1. Go 0.1 miles. Turn left at N
Charles St/MD-139. Go 1.5 miles. Slight left at E University Pkwy. Go 0.8
miles. Turn right at Keswick Rd. Go 0.3 miles. Turn right to 407 Wingate Rd.
