Decorated for Halloween with related activities available. Ride will not go if chance of rain is greater than 30%. DC Capitol Beltway (495). *Exit 31(Georgia Avenue, Rte 97) north toward Pennsylvania. Go 22 miles and *Take I-70 ( at exit 76) west toward Frederick. Go 3 miles and *exit number 73. DC Capitol Beltway (495) mideastern portion. Take Exit 19 (US-50. John Hanson Highway) East. Go 11 miles and *take exit 16 South (MD-424. Davidsonville Road). Take next right to remain on MD-424. Go 5 miles and *take a right turn on MD-2 (Solomons Island Road). Go 2 miles and *take a right turn into high school (4400 Solomons Island Road in Harwood). Two rest stops on the ride with food, drinks, bathrooms. Beautiful country roads, historic old towns, lovely scenery, generally low traffic. Libertytown is a little north and east of Frederick, 45 miles from the intersection of I-495 and I-270 -- a very easy drive. DIR: DC Capitol Beltway (495). *Take I-270 N to Frederick. *Continue on US-40 W (1.2 mi/1 min). *Continue on US-15 (N 2.4 mi/3 mins). *Exit onto Liberty Rd/MD-26 E toward MD-194/Libertytown/Walkersville 2.2 mi/3 mins). *Slight right toward  Liberty Rd/MD-26 (384 ft). * Slight right at Liberty Rd/MD-26 (7.6 mi/12 mins). *To: Libertytown Park on your right. This ride is similar, with variations, to Chuck & Gail's Tally Ho! Ride #41. We'll start in Marshall, have a rest stop at the Country store in Orlean (the longer ride), and lunch after the ride in Marshall. Directions: Take I-66 west to Exit 28, Route 17.Go north on 17 for 0.7 miles to Marshall and turn left on Main St (Rte 55).
